11Alive: Atlanta Investing More Than $350K to Traffic Cam System

Atlanta is investing more than $350,000 to improve its closed circuit TV (CCTV) system. Mayor Kasim Reed announced on Tuesday a series of enhancements to the city’s Operation Shield Video Integration Center (VIC) that, he said, will increase the city’s police department coverage. The improvements are being funded through the Renew Atlanta infrastructure bond program.

AJC: Video Integration Center Gets Tech Upgrades
