In Case You missed It: Lynhurst Drive Complete Street Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Recap

On November 2, 2017, the Renew Atlanta/TSPLOST team partnered with the City of Atlanta’s Department of Public Works to host the Lynhurst Drive Complete Street ribbon cutting ceremony.

In attendance were Mayor Kasim Reed; First Lady Sarah-Elizabeth Reed; Department of Public Works Commissioner William Johnson; and District 10 City Council Member C.T. Martin, among community members who came out to show their support.

The $6.3 million dollar joint project is a priority project for Mayor Reed and includes the installation of wider sidewalks and curbs, LED pedestrian lighting, 23 upgraded ADA ramps and streetscape improvements along Lynhurst Drive, between Cascade Road and Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Renew Atlanta contributed $3.6M toward this project and resurfaced the 2.27 mile roadway.
