Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation and Aquatic Center (Natatorium)
The premier, iconic Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation and Aquatic Center incorporates the latest innovative and interactive features of recreation and leisure-based aquatic environments. The 64,000 square foot facility includes a lounge area, leisure pool, therapy pool, lap pool, gymnasium, indoor jogging track, climbing wall, multi-purpose fitness area, locker rooms, restrooms, Senior Center, computer lab, classroom, multi-purpose meeting room, police substation and staff offices. This is a partnership project with the City of Atlanta's Department of Parks & Recreation.
Renew Atlanta contributed $17M toward the total project cost.
