Public Meeting Recap: Cascade Road/Avenue Corridor (Phase 2) Project

On March 8, 2018, Renew Atlanta hosted the first public meeting to discuss Phase 2 of the Cascade Road/Avenue Corridor project at the Vicars Community Center. City of Atlanta Council members Cleta Winslow and Marci Overstreet welcomed over 60 residents. 

The complete street project consists of two phases. Phase 1 of the project consists of two segments that extend from Atlanta city limits to Willis Mill Road and from Delowe Drive to Avon Avenue. Phase 2 extends from Avon Avenue to Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard.

The fourth public meeting to discuss Phase 1 of the Cascade Corridor project will be held on Tuesday, March 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cascade United Methodist Church, located at 3144 Cascade Road. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide feedback on the project.
